Harcourts ETB Realty is looking for an organised, confident and people-focused person to join our Rotorua Property Management team.
This is a varied role with ownership of our property inspection programme, along with administration and support across the wider Property Management team.
You'll spend part of your week out and about completing inspections, and the rest managing reports, scheduling, follow-up and administration.
What you'll be doing:- Managing and completing routine property inspections
- Preparing clear, professional inspection reports
- Coordinating inspection schedules and appointments
- Identifying maintenance, property condition and compliance issues
- Communicating confidently with tenants
- Liaising with Property Managers on follow-up actions
- Assisting with ingoing and outgoing inspections when required
- Providing administration and support to the wider Property Management team
Who we're looking for
Property management experience would be a real advantage, but it isn't essential.
We're also open to someone with strong administration skills, great attention to detail, confidence dealing with people and the ability to manage their own workload.
You'll ideally be someone who is:- Highly organised and reliable
- Confident and professional with people
- Detail-focused with strong written communication
- Comfortable having conversations around property condition and cleanliness
- Good with technology and systems
- Proactive and able to work independently
- A team player who is happy to help where needed
For someone with solid property management experience, we're open to shaping the role around your strengths and including broader responsibilities, with salary negotiable depending on experience.
