Hobsonville Marina, one of New Zealand's largest marinas, is seeking a detail oriented and customer focused Berth Administrator to join our team on an 8 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
As the Berth Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for berth holders and visitors, ensuring smooth day to day operations at the marina. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing berth bookings, renewals, and payments
- Responding to berth holder inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Assisting with marina communications, including berth license renewals and general updates
- Coordinating with marina staff to ensure efficient berth management
- General administrative duties to support the marina team
What We're Looking For:- Previous experience in administration, customer service.
- Marina industry experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of boating and marinas is a plus but not required
