About us

With a team of skilled staff using an extensively equipped workshop designed for fabrication and welding, we can meet all architectural, metalwork and steelwork needs.
About the role
We are currently looking for a Fabricator / Welder to join our team in Christchurch repairing transport crates.
You will be responsible for:- Initial fault finding
- Repairing transport crates by replacing parts, welding, straightening panels, etc.
- Once repaired, assess for the safety of use, fit for purpose, and for the team leader check off for competition.
This is a fixed term 3 month contract with the potential to lead to full time employment.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have some basic experience and knowledge of mechanical engineering / welding and light fabrication. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You will also need to demonstrate:- A high level of workmanship
- Attention to detail
- A reliable work ethic
- The ability to work in a team and unsupervised
A current Forklift licence would be highly regarded, however is not essential.
