At Pack Centre we are proudly NZ owned and locally operated and we currently seek the skills of a Warehouse Store Person to join our busy team working alongside our current storeman!
We require someone who is reliable, with a great attitude, plenty of initiative and a "hands on" approach to work. We need someone with quality processing and communication skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to work at pace.
You must be enthusiastic, resourceful and operate with attention to detail and accuracy.
Our business is customer focused so to be successful in this role you must have a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Processing inwards goods
Outwards goods - Picking and packing
Stocktaking
Onsite Installations
Deliveries
This is a busy operation and ensuring that stock flows in and out of the business efficiently is critical to ensure our service is the best it can possibly be. Some heavy lifting is required.
Therefore, it is important you have the following skills and attributes:
Excellent communication skills
Confident computer skills
Accuracy and efficiency
Pace and energy
Good time Management
Confident using basic tools
Clean drivers licence
Willingness to be part of a team
Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
This is a full time Maternity leave position working 8:00am - 5:00pm commencing mid January 2024 - late August 2024.
