    We are a manufacturer and importer of commercial furniture based in Penrose Auckland. We pride ourselves on our service and quality of goods.

    About the Role:

    We are looking for an upholsterer who will be based out of our Penrose Auckland factory.

    This is a permanent, full time role working a minimum of 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm.

    An hourly rate between $26 - 30 will be offered to the successful candidate.

    Skills and Experience:
    • 3+ years' experience. High calibre of upholstery skills.
    • Ability to sew is an advantage.
    • Good knowledge of fabric, foam and wood used in upholstery.
    • Accuracy in all work to ensure a high level of quality.
    • An expert using air-powered staple guns and hand tools.
    • Knowledge of CNC routering machine an advantage.
    • Experience in frame building.
    • Communication skills, with a good command of English.
    • Reliable work ethic.
    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Meet production deadlines in timely fashion, on specification.
    • Working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department.
    • Maintain your department's plant according to maintenance schedules.
    • Contribute to overall team in process improvement.
