Wight Aluminium is one of New Zealand's largest facade contractors, delivering commercial and residential aluminium joinery solutions to clients throughout the North Island. We have been in business for over 45 years and are a family owned business where people matter.
We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Whanganui in a full time, permanent role.
The Payroll Administrator position offers Payroll & Human Resources (HR) support to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payrolls in accordance with legislation, employment agreements and company policies.
Reporting to the Administration & Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:- Collating, preparing & inputting timesheet data ready for payroll processing.
- Processing of the payroll on a weekly basis.
- Managing the onboarding process for new employees.
- Maintenance of employee information.
- Managing the exit interview process for employees that have resigned.
- Assisting the administration team from time to time as required.
We're looking for someone with previous payroll and HR support experience using automated payroll & HR systems. Previous exposure using Frontier Payroll software would be an advantage. Confidentiality and effective communication skills will be critical to the successful execution of this role.
