We take our role as a lead supplier to government, law enforcement, defence, correctional, security and EMS organisations seriously. For over 20 years we have followed advancements in protection and security equipment to ensure that the professionals who depend on us are best equipped and well informed.

    We are in a stage of growth with lots of exciting opportunities, and we are currently looking to boost our staff numbers involved in a major long-term Government programme by appointing an additional Measure and Fit Technician.

    This role entails the planning, administration and execution of a measure and fit service, both initial fitting and then periodic rechecks, of specialised garments.

    This position is based in Wellington and the service is provided from multiple sites within the greater Wellington region. The position will require travel around New Zealand to perform a programme of clinics at the customer's sites across the country.

    About the Role:
    • Take body measurements using a tape measure, then fit apparel using approved fitting techniques to ensure correct levels of safety, comfort, and security for the user.
    • Demonstrate product features and functionality
    • Fit individuals in a manner that is satisfactory to the customer and does not negate any manufacturer warranties or standards
    • Input measurements and sales order data into an Asset Management System software
    • Achieve service targets as advised
    • Manage Measure and Fit Calendars
    • Adhere to Measure and Fit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Attend customer meetings when requested
    • Attend staff/team meetings (face to face, and virtual)
    • Raise and update Support Tickets in the Asset Management System software to record customer requirements
    • Based on these customer requirements, raise stock orders for clinics in the Asset Management System

    • Create and exhibit a sense of ownership of all aspects of the role
    • Be articulate, use clear concise communication - leave no doubt in the mind of the other party (customer or colleague). Excellent written and spoken English is a must
    • Display impeccable interpersonal skills
    • Possess a professional, and friendly demeanour and appearance
    • Previous experience using ERP/AMS software is beneficial
    • Show a desire to build positive relationships with colleagues (both within the immediate team and elsewhere in the Company) and with customers
    • Be organised and methodical with keen attention to detail
    • Work well in a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
    • Demonstrate an excellent grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Remain calm under pressure and be flexible and agile in a changing environment
    • Must be able to work outside normal business hours on occasion, and willing to spend some time away from home
    Full training will be provided.

    Please note, a clean Police vetting check is required which the company will undertake for you. You must also have a clean full NZ Driver's Licence.
