    • Kitchens By John Prosser is a family owned and operated business with over 30 years experience on the Hibiscus Coast and the wider Auckland area.

    We are currently looking for a Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team in Whangaparaoa.

    To be considered for this position, you will need to be a trade qualified Cabinet Maker or have 3+ years experience as a Cabinet Maker / Installer.

    Duties include:
    • Manufacture and install custom cabinetry and furniture based on design specifications
    • Operate woodworking machines and hand tools competently
    • Demonstrate confidence interpreting plans and cutting lists accurately
    • Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures.
    • Ensure that all work meets the required specifications and quality standards
    We are looking for someone who:
    • Works well with the team and our valued clients
    • Shows strong attention to detail, efficiency and commitment to producing high-quality work
    • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
    • Has a good level of physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
    • Is proficient in the use of woodworking machines and hand tools
    • Is able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
    • A current clean drivers licence is essential, and a HT licence would be an advantage
    This is a full time position working Monday to Friday (and Saturdays as required) - 40-48 hours per week. An immediate start is available.

    In return, we are offering an attractive hourly rate ($30-$36 - to be negotiated).
