Are you experienced in sales and customer support and do you have a working knowledge of Automotive Paint and Consumables?
Smits Group has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative for our Auckland Head Office Team and the surrounding North Island region.
Smits Group is a leading supplier of Paint and Consumables to the refinish trade. The business has experienced significant growth and is looking to add to its high performing team, to ensure that it maintains its high service levels for existing customers while continuing the current growth trajectory.
Responsibilities will include:
Building strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
Strong customer focus coupled with a professional approach.
Exceptional service and reliability.
Grow sales within an existing customer base.
Identify new business opportunities in the territory.
Travel could be part of this role and there is the possibility to be away several nights per month.
This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:
A solid knowledge of the Automotive Refinish Trade.
Proven self-starter who can work with minimum supervision.
Ability to solve technical problems would be an advantage.
Good verbal / written communication skills.
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
Full driver's license.
Well-presented and motivated.
Trade experience would be an advantage.
