  • B & M Joinery Cromwell is currently a team of 11 (12 if you count our dog Oakley!) with a combined experience of more than 70 years in the industry.

    We have positions available for an experienced Joinery Installer and a Senior Joiner to join our team in Cromwell, Central Otago.

    Main tasks include:
    • Understanding and applying quality control techniques
    • Using appropriate tools and equipment, as well as handling materials
    • Exercising good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Performing incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task
    • Able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards
    • Performing work either individually or in a team environment
    • Applying workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
    • Constructing household joinery
    • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
    • Using power tools
    • Loading, delivering and installing household joinery
    • Other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested
    To be successful in the Joinery Installer role you will need to have 3+ years' experience installing joinery, and for the Senior Joiner role, you will need to have at least 3 years' experience in Joinery. It is essential you have a good level of physical fitness as this is a physical role.
