B & M Joinery Cromwell is currently a team of 11 (12 if you count our dog Oakley!) with a combined experience of more than 70 years in the industry.
We have positions available for an experienced Joinery Installer and a Senior Joiner to join our team in Cromwell, Central Otago.
Main tasks include:
Understanding and applying quality control techniques
Using appropriate tools and equipment, as well as handling materials
Exercising good interpersonal and communication skills
Performing incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task
Able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards
Performing work either individually or in a team environment
Applying workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
Constructing household joinery
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Using power tools
Loading, delivering and installing household joinery
Other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested
To be successful in the Joinery Installer role you will need to have 3+ years' experience installing joinery, and for the Senior Joiner role, you will need to have at least 3 years' experience in Joinery. It is essential you have a good level of physical fitness as this is a physical role.
