Loadmaster is a long-established New Zealand manufacturer of vehicle decks, tow bars and specialist vehicle fit-outs. We are looking for an experienced Tow Bar Fabricator to join our team at our modern, purpose-built facility in Sockburn.
The Role
Working as part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the fabrication of tow bars for a wide range of vehicles.
Your day-to-day work will include:- Fabricating tow bars using purpose-built jigs and fixtures
- Working from established patterns and proven manufacturing processes
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and finish
- Working within our quality management system
- Contributing to our continuous improvement programme
What we're looking for
Ideally, you will have:- Previous experience in tow bar, automotive or general fabrication
- Good MIG welding and fabrication skills
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently from jigs and patterns
- A strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- The ability to work independently and take pride in your workmanship
Industry experience is preferred, but the right person with strong fabrication skills will be considered.
