What the role involves
You'll be responsible for managing your own rental portfolio while building genuine relationships with landlords and tenants. Key duties include:- Completing rental assessments and appraisals
- Marketing and advertising listed properties
- Hosting viewings and managing tenant selection
- Preparing tenancy agreements and documentation
- Conducting inspections and preparing detailed reports
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs
- Overseeing all aspects of the vacate process
- Managing rent, bonds, and payments
- Prospecting for new management opportunities
Who we're looking for
Our ideal candidate would have previous property management experience, as well as the ability to be comfortable working in a high energy and multitasking position. NZQA Certificate 4 is preferred but not essential.
You will need to have sound knowledge of the following acts; Residential Tenancies Act as amended, Strata Titles Legislation, Property, Stock and Business Agents Act, Anti-Discrimination Act, Trade Practices and Fair-Trading Acts.
