Spring and summer are our biggest and most exciting seasons at Kings Plant Barn. Our stores are buzzing, gardens are coming to life, and there's plenty happening across our marketing calendar.
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Contractor to jump in, get amongst it and help us deliver brilliant marketing activity across this key trading period.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making things happen. You'll step into an existing marketing plan and help bring campaigns to life across digital, content, paid media and our stores.
You'll work alongside our Marketing team and wider Kings crew to keep campaigns moving and make sure great ideas turn into great execution.
What you'll be doing:- Delivering weekly and seasonal retail campaigns across digital, paid media, radio, digital out-of-home and in-store channels
- Coordinating campaign activity to agreed timelines and budgets
- Helping bring campaigns to life across our stores, including point-of-sale, merchandising communications and visual execution
- Supporting content creation across social, digital and ecommerce
- Working with agencies, suppliers, contractors and our store teams to keep activity on track
- Juggling multiple campaigns, priorities and deadlines during one of our busiest times of year
- Responding quickly when trading priorities change and helping the team get things done
About you
You're an experienced marketer who can walk into a busy environment, quickly work out what needs doing and crack on with it.
You'll bring:- 2-3+ years' marketing experience, ideally within retail, FMCG or another consumer-facing, multi-site business
- Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns from plan through to execution
- Strong project management skills and exceptional organisation
- A practical, hands-on approach and genuine energy for getting great work out the door
- The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a wider team
- The ability to manage multiple live campaigns and deadlines without losing sight of the details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pragmatic and adaptable mindset - you're comfortable changing gears when the business needs to
Experience in garden, home improvement or large-format retail would be a bonus. And if you already love plants, gardening or getting outdoors, even better.
