    At Choice Construction Group, we're looking for an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who wants to learn, contribute, and grow alongside an experienced team of construction professionals.

    This is an opportunity to work directly with Directors, gain hands-on experience across every stage of project delivery, and play an important role in the commercial success of our projects.

    The Role

    Working closely with our Directors, Project Managers, site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, you'll support the commercial delivery of projects from tender through to final account.

    You'll gain exposure to:
    • Tendering, estimating, and cost planning
    • Subcontractor management
    • Contract administration and variations
    • Project forecasting and cashflow management
    • Client and consultant engagement
    • Commercial strategy and project financial performance
    Most importantly, you'll be part of a team that encourages you to challenge the status quo, contribute ideas, and continuously develop your skills.

    About You

    You're motivated, commercially aware, and keen to build a long-term career in construction.

    You'll bring:
    • 2-3 years' Quantity Surveying experience with a New Zealand main contractor
    • A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
    • Sound knowledge of NZ construction contracts and commercial practices
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
    • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
    • A current Full Class 1 Driver Licence
    Experience with Procore, BIM, digital construction platforms, or AI tools would be an advantage but isn't essential.
