Our Ideal HVAC Technician
We're looking for someone who is:- Honest, hardworking and punctual
- At least 3 years qualified
- Confident working unsupervised and making decisions on the job
- Experienced with a range of HVAC installations, including residential, commercial and zone control systems
- Experienced in fault finding and diagnostics (preferred, but not essential)
- A holder of a full NZ driver's licence
- Currently residing in New Zealand
- Full NZ working rights (essential)
What You'll Be Doing
As an HVAC Technician at JRL, you'll be responsible for:- Liaising directly with our clients, including builders and homeowners
- Reading and following plans to complete HVAC installations across new-build residential and commercial properties
- Working independently and taking ownership of your projects
- Training and supervising apprentices
- Working closely with management and providing regular updates on job progress
- Ensuring projects are completed within allocated hours and to a high standard
- Representing JRL professionally when dealing with clients and other trades
