    • THE ROLE

    WashCo is looking for a reliable and motivated Building Wash Technician to join our team.

    This is a hands-on outdoor role cleaning commercial buildings, windows, and exterior surfaces across the Dunedin and wider Otago region. No two days are the same. You'll work as part of a supportive team using professional cleaning equipment and access systems to deliver high-quality results for our clients, including Dunedin City Council and the University of Otago. From iconic historical buildings to modern structures, we do it all.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    Day to day:
    • Window cleaning of commercial buildings
    • Exterior building washing and water blasting
    • Gutter cleaning and exterior maintenance services
    • Operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
    • Setting up and packing down equipment
    • Completing job documentation and safety checks
    • Maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment
    • Providing professional customer service on-site
    • Following company and site-specific Health & Safety requirements
    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Experience & attributes

    We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working outdoors. Experience in any of the following is an advantage but not essential:
    • Window cleaning
    • Building washing
    • Exterior cleaning
    • Water blasting
    • Working at heights
    • Outdoor physical work
    You should also:
    • Be physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
    • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Take pride in producing quality work
    • Be able to work safely as part of a team
    • Have good communication skills
    • Hold a Full NZ Driver Licence (advantageous but not essential)
    • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
