    Kings Plant Barn is a leading provider of plants and garden products, specialising in indoor and outdoor garden solutions. We started as one small store over 30 years ago and now have seven stores and one nursery servicing garden and plant lovers across Auckland.     We are currently looking for Garden Centre Assistants to join our St Lukes and Stonefields branches for our busy Spring season.

    About the role:
    • Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a great shopping experience
    • Checkout duties, including operating the till and processing transactions accurately
    • Assisting with stock movement, merchandising, replenishment and branch presentation
    • Supporting operational tasks, including forklift operations and occasional driving duties where required (training will be provided)
    • Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Following health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices
    • Rostered weekday and weekend work
    About you:
    • Motivated with a can-do attitude
    • Ideally have retail experience
    • Excellent at communicating
    • General knowledge of plants would be an advantage
    • A good level of fitness is required as this role involves heavy lifting duties
    • Full Clean Driver's Licence
