Stannard Plumbing is a locally owned and operated plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying company servicing Rodney, the North Shore and the wider North Auckland region. We specialise in residential and light commercial work; maintenance, renovations and new builds, and we're proud of the quality workmanship and customer service we deliver.
We're looking for an experienced Plumber / Gasfitter / Drainlayer to join our close-knit team. If you're someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in your work and wants to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
Working across Rodney and the North Shore, you'll carry out a variety of plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying work on residential and light commercial projects.
Your responsibilities will include:- Plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying work to a high standard
- Managing jobs independently from start to finish
- Working alongside other tradespeople and supporting apprentices when required
- Communicating professionally with clients and the team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Gasfitting experience is preferred but not essential.
About you
To be successful, you'll have:- Trade Qualifications / Registration (or be in the final year of your apprenticeship)
- NZ based plumbing experience
- Full New Zealand driver's licence
- New Zealand citizenship / residency
- The ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- A good level of fitness for physical work
Bonus points if you have:- Experience using Fergus Job Management software
- Experience operating diggers
