    We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Chef to join our kitchen team.

    This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has recently completed catering college or is looking to start their career in the catering industry.

    Working alongside our Executive Chef, you'll receive full training while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of food preparation and catering techniques. Every day brings something different, making this an ideal role to develop your skills.

    This role involves early starts, with a 5:00 am start time, so it's best suited to early birds! The position is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work when required. You'll typically work around 30-40 hours per week, with the opportunity for 40+ hours during our busy lead-up to Christmas.

    About the Role

    This is a hands-on position where you'll help prepare fresh, high-quality food for our daily catering operation and events.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other lunch items
    • Assisting with canapĂ© preparation, baking, platters, and event catering
    • Supporting the kitchen team with daily food production
    • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
    • Assisting with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
    • Working as part of a positive, hardworking team
    About You

    We're looking for someone who is passionate about food and eager to learn.

    You'll ideally have:
    • A recent cookery qualification or be working towards one
    • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
    • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
    • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
    • Reliability and a willingness to learn
    • A good level of physical fitness
    Previous kitchen or catering experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
