Bay Aluminium has been a trusted name in the Far North for over 30 years, manufacturing high-quality aluminium windows and doors for residential and commercial projects. As the largest and most versatile aluminium joinery manufacturer in the region, we've built our reputation on quality workmanship, reliable service, and the expertise of our long-standing team.
We're currently looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Kerikeri.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, working 8.00am to 4.30pm, where you'll play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly and supporting the wider team.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You'll oversee the day-to-day office operations, manage accounts payable and receivable using Xero, process payroll through Smartly, file GST returns, provide front desk customer service, maintain records and reporting, support health and safety compliance, and help ensure the office remains organised, efficient, and welcoming.
We're looking for someone who enjoys staying one step ahead, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and thrives in a role where organisation and attention to detail are essential. You'll be supporting a range of people across the business, so a positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are key.
What we're looking for:- Proven experience in an Office Manager or senior administration role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience with payroll or HR administration is an advantage
- Building or aluminium joinery industry experience is ideal
You'll be joining a friendly team in a long-established, respected local business where people genuinely enjoy working together. With plenty of variety in the role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the day-to-day success of the business while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
If you're an organised, dependable professional who enjoys keeping everything on track and takes pride in supporting a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.
