Manolas Bros is an established premium residential cabinetry company specialising in bespoke joinery for some of Auckland and New Zealand's leading interior designers. We've built our reputation on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering cabinetry that exceeds expectations.
We're looking for an experienced Cabinetry Designer / CAD Detailer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, creating accurate manufacturing drawings, and seeing their work transformed into beautifully crafted cabinetry.

The Role
Working closely with our senior designer, you'll be responsible for transforming architectural drawings into detailed manufacturing shop drawings that ensure every project runs smoothly from design through to installation.
Every project is different, so you'll enjoy working on bespoke, high-end residential homes where attention to detail is everything.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce detailed manufacturing and shop drawings for custom cabinetry.
- Create material lists and production documentation.
- Detail custom cabinetry using Polyboard, Mozaik, and SketchUp (or similar).
- Identify and resolve potential design or production issues before they reach the workshop.
- Review appliance specifications and requirements for each project.
- Work closely with project managers, cabinetmakers and installers throughout each project.
- Communicate directly with interior designers and architects.
About You
You'll ideally have:- Experience designing or detailing residential cabinetry.
- A background in cabinetmaking on the shop floor.
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
- Experience using Polyboard, Mozaik, and SketchUp (or similar cabinetry software).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for producing outstanding work.
