Verge NZ is a locally owned scaffolding company that prides itself on delivering safe, reliable, and quality scaffolding solutions. We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Scaffold Labourer to join our team. If you're physically fit, enjoy practical work, and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you.
Hours
This is a casual position with work available as required, Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with no guaranteed minimum hours. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Scaffold Labourer, you'll support our scaffolders on-site and help keep our yard running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment
- Transporting equipment to and from job sites
- Preparing work sites for scaffold erection
- Assisting scaffolders with lifting and positioning materials
- General labouring duties on-site and in the yard
- Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and equipment
- Following health and safety procedures
- Representing Verge NZ professionally on-site
What We're Looking For
You'll need:- A minimum Restricted NZ Driver Licence
- To be physically fit and reliable
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
Previous construction, labouring, or scaffolding experience is an advantage but not essential.
