The Role
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Internal Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department.
This role is the key link between our Sales, Service, Parts and Pre-Delivery teams, ensuring new and used vehicles are prepared and ready for delivery on time and to the highest standard.
You'll be responsible for coordinating internal service work, monitoring vehicle progress, communicating with multiple departments, and ensuring every vehicle is delivery-ready as promised.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills, and thrives on keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the preparation of new and used vehicles for customer delivery
- Create and manage repair orders and associated documentation
- Monitor the progress of internal service work and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise daily with the Sales, Service and Parts Departments
- Communicate any delays or issues that may impact delivery timeframes
- Ensure vehicle information and repair orders are accurate and up to date
- Coordinate vehicle keys and maintain vehicle security
- Assist with internal scheduling and workflow to maximise efficiency
- Support a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, dealership administration, or automotive coordination role (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of motor vehicles and dealership processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A positive, professional attitude and commitment to providing excellent internal customer service
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn dealership systems quickly
