Supply Services is a NZ-owned engineering business specialising in high-performance plastics and precision-machined components for industrial and engineering applications.
We're a growing market leader with continued investment in our people, systems and CNC machine tools.
We're looking for an organised and commercially minded Production Planner & Scheduler to join our existing planning team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside another experienced Production Planner & Scheduler, you'll coordinate production across our national machining operations.
Working closely with Production Managers, Foremen and internal sales teams, you'll balance production capacity, schedule work, purchase non-stock materials and help ensure customer orders are delivered on time.
This is a key role that directly influences production efficiency, machine utilisation and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:- Plan and schedule production across multiple machine shop locations
- Balance machine capacity and customer delivery commitments
- Purchase non-stock materials and coordinate supplier deliveries
- Maintain ERP planning and scheduling data
- Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling constraints and bottlenecks
- Communicate priorities, lead times and schedule changes with Production Managers, Foremen, internal sales teams and suppliers
- Support continuous improvement, quality and safe manufacturing practices

What we're looking for:- Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Sound understanding of CNC machining processes and production workflows
- Experience using ERP or manufacturing planning systems
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions under pressure
- Committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement
