Cockram Motor Group are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our in-house marketing team in Christchurch.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a portfolio of leading automotive, motorcycle, caravan and motorhome brands, supporting the delivery of engaging marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering marketing initiatives across multiple dealerships and brands. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to contribute across a wide range of marketing channels.
Your responsibilities will include:- Planning, coordinating and executing dealership marketing plans across our brands
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of dealership events, both on-site and off-site
- Managing our social media channels, creating engaging written content and helping grow online communities
- Ensuring all social content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice
- Creating engaging content for websites, blogs and other digital platforms
- Supporting the implementation of our CRM strategy by ensuring customer leads are accurately managed within Autoplay
- Building and maintaining website content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant and engaging
- Collaborating with our Parts and Service teams to develop and deliver targeted marketing initiatives
- Monitoring campaign performance and providing insights to help improve future marketing activity
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across the full marketing mix while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is organised, creative and proactive, with a passion for digital marketing and content creation.
Ideally you'll have:- Experience in social media, email, content and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance
- Experience using digital marketing platforms, content management systems and CRM software
- Familiarity with website content management and SEO principles
- Experience coordinating events or promotional campaigns
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills would be an advantage, but aren't essential
- A tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline is desirable, but not essential
- A current, valid New Zealand driver's licence
