At Picasso Joinery, we're passionate about producing premium-quality, custom-made timber joinery. From beautifully crafted kitchens and bespoke cabinetry to traditional timber windows, doors and staircases, every project is built with precision, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
We're looking for an experienced Qualified Timber Joiner or Cabinet Maker who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys creating high-end, architectural joinery.
You'll work alongside a skilled and supportive team that values quality workmanship and takes pride in every project that leaves the workshop.
About the Role
Working from a modern Lower Hutt workshop, you'll be involved in the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of custom timber joinery, including:- Architectural kitchens
- Traditional and contemporary timber windows
- Exterior and interior timber doors
- Custom staircases
- Wardrobes, shelving and storage solutions
- Bespoke cabinetry and one-off timber projects
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Measuring and occasional on-site installation as required
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys producing high-quality work and has an eye for detail. Ideally, you'll have:- A qualification in Joinery or Cabinet Making
- Proven experience manufacturing custom timber joinery
- The ability to confidently read and interpret plans
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality finishes
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A focus on workplace health and safety
- A full New Zealand driver's licence
