    • This role would suit a semi-retired person with an engineering background and hours can be adjusted to suit.

    We don't care about university degrees, we do care about you knowing what a piece of 3" dia 4140 is.

    We are looking for a purchasing person to join our well established and reputable company located in East Tamaki, Auckland.

    We manufacture machined metal components to clients locally and overseas and are looking for someone to take over the purchasing of materials and liaising with sub-contractors.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Purchasing of all materials required to meet our production deadlines and liaising with subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries etc. This may involve occasionally meeting with them to discuss deliveries issues etc.

    • Full commitment to safety requirements inside the factory, and while driving.
    • Full drivers license (class 1)
    • A knowledge of steel, plastic and non-ferrous material types and grades.
