    We are a Christian mission organisation committed to making the Bible accessible and meaningful for people across New Zealand and beyond. Over the past two years, we have successfully implemented a new ERP system across the organisation. While the platform is live and performing well, we have identified several opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, usability, and user adoption. We are seeking an experienced and practical ERP Coordinator (Contractor) to help us complete the final stage of our ERP journey and ensure we are maximising the value of our ERP investment.

    The Opportunity

    This is a temporary, part-time, contracting role for an experienced ERP professional who enjoys refining systems, solving business process challenges, and driving projects through to completion. Working closely with internal stakeholders and the ERP service provider, you will identify and prioritise remaining system improvements, coordinate delivery of enhancements, and support successful adoption across the organisation. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in ERP systems, business analysis, systems coordination, or project delivery who can confidently bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Contract Details:
    • Temporary, part-time, contractor engagement
    • Approximately 12-15 hours per week
    • Initial contract term of 2-3 months
    • Auckland-based, with flexible/hybrid working arrangements
    • Potential for extension depending on outcomes
    Key Responsibilities

    Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Meet with staff across multiple departments to understand current processes, challenges, and system requirements.
    • Gather and document business needs in a clear and practical manner.
    • Identify manual workarounds and opportunities for process improvement.
    Gap Analysis:
    • Review current ERP configuration and functionality for the remaining tasks against business requirements.
    • Identify and assess:
      - Workflow gaps
      - Process inefficiencies
      - Reporting requirements
      - Data quality and consistency issues
    • Prioritise improvement opportunities based on business impact and urgency.
    Developer Coordination:
    • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical briefs.
    • Act as the primary liaison between business users and the ERP Provider.
    • Manage clarification and feedback throughout the development process.
    • Validate completed work to ensure it meets business expectations.
    Project and Task Management:
    • Maintain a prioritised backlog of outstanding system enhancements.
    • Track progress and drive accountability across stakeholders.
    • Coordinate implementation activities and keep projects moving forward.
    • Provide regular progress updates to leadership.
    Testing and User Adoption:
    • Coordinate user testing of new functionality and process improvements.
    • Assist with documentation of key processes and workflows.
    • Support staff understanding and adoption of system enhancements.
    About You

    You will bring:

    Experience:
    • Experience working with ERP platforms and integration (Odoo ERP or similar)
    • Background in business analysis, systems coordination, project delivery, or ERP implementation.
    • Experience working with small to medium-sized organisations; nonprofit experience is advantageous.
    Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
    • Practical, solutions-focused approach.
    • Ability to work independently and maintain momentum.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
