New Construction Taupo Ltd is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Foreman to join our team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional residential homes, leading people well, and taking pride in a safe, organised, high-performing site, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest level of craftsmanship.
What You'll Be Doing:- Lead daily on-site operations and work alongside the construction team to deliver high-quality residential projects.
- Coordinate builders, apprentices, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work progresses efficiently and safely.
- Maintain strong health and safety practices, including toolbox meetings, site inductions, and compliance with NZ regulations.
- Monitor quality standards, ensuring all work meets project specifications and company expectations.
- Manage project schedules, inspections, materials, and critical milestones in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator.
- Keep accurate records and communicate progress, issues, and updates through Wunderbuild and regular team discussions.
- Foster a positive, organised, and professional site culture that reflects the values of New Construction Taupo Ltd.
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience in residential construction.
- Previous leadership or site foreman experience is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and residential building practices.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to lead teams, motivate people, and solve problems proactively.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality workmanship.
- Experience with construction management software such as Wunderbuild is advantageous.
