GA Aluminium is a family run business, located in the heart of Christchurch. We provide quality joinery and advice to homeowners and builders, working with our clients to deliver practical solutions to the building process. We offer the full service starting with the design, colour selection, glass type and hardware, right through to the fabrication and installation.

We have the exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our team based in Woolston, Christchurch. This is a permanent, full time position with an immediate start.

As our Estimator, you will provide quotes for customers, cost jobs, and provide administration support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing quotes to clients using in-house software, setting up new customer files, and analysing costs to ensure budgets are met.
Dealing with customers that come into the showroom and having consultations to go over their jobs.
Following up and maintaining customer contact from quoting through to job completion.
Maintaining relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new business.
Other various administration tasks and general housekeeping of office.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

Previous experience, or relevant qualification in Estimating including being able to read detailed plans.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability.
Competent computer skills and able to pick up new systems.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred construction industry experience.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 7:45am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 3pm.
