Worksite Safety Solutions Ltd (WSS) is a growing New Zealand business delivering civil construction, traffic management and integrated project services. As we continue to expand our civil construction capability, we are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews, drive site performance and take ownership of day-to-day project delivery.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading on-site operations, supervising crews and ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required standard. The Foreman plays a critical role in coordinating daily activities, maintaining productivity, managing quality and driving strong safety performance across all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise daily civil construction and temporary traffic management activities
- Coordinate Operators, Labourers and subcontractors
- Manage excavation, service exposure, protection and reinstatement works
- Deliver asphalt and concrete reinstatement activities
- Monitor productivity, quality and programme performance
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and client requirements
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site safety briefings
- Maintain accurate site documentation, reporting and records
- Act as the primary on-site contact for operational matters
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience leading crews on civil construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excavation, drainage, reinstatement, utilities or infrastructure works
- Strong leadership and crew management capability
- Sound understanding of health and safety requirements within construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 minimum preferred)
