    Wilks Penny Motorcycles are family owned and operated Motorbike specialist and stockists of Suzuki, Kawasaki & Beta.

    We are currently looking for a Service Manager to become the link between our customers, technicians, and workshop operations. This is a hands-on role that combines technical knowledge, customer service, workflow management, and leadership.

    You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the service department, ensuring work flows smoothly from booking through to completion.

    Working closely with customers and technicians, you'll be responsible for allocating jobs, monitoring progress, managing workshop priorities, and ensuring every motorcycle leaves the workshop to the highest standard.

    This will include:
    • Coordinating daily workshop operations and workflow
    • Allocating work to technicians based on skill and workload
    • Monitoring job progress and workshop productivity
    • Diagnosing and assisting with technical issues when required
    • Reviewing quotes and repair recommendations
    • Communicating repairs and costs clearly to customers
    • Liaising with customers throughout the repair process
    • Providing guidance and support to technicians
    • Ensuring quality control checks are completed before vehicles leave the workshop
    • Maintaining high standards of customer service
    • Supporting a safe and efficient workshop environment
    What we're looking for

    Ideally, you'll have:
    • Previous experience in a motorcycle, automotive, or mechanical workshop
    • Strong technical understanding and diagnostic ability
    • Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating technicians
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple jobs at once
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
    • A passion for motorcycles and the industry
