Speedy Signs Newmarket is a leading signage company with a reputation for delivering high-quality signage solutions and exceptional customer service to businesses across Auckland.
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Signage Sales Representative to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with proven signage industry experience who enjoys building customer relationships, managing projects, and identifying opportunities to grow sales.
This is primarily an office-based position, however customer meetings, site visits, and networking opportunities will form an important part of the role.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping drive business growth.
You'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries,preparing quotations, coordinating projects, and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to project completion.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales and find new customers.
- Conduct customer visits and site inspections to discuss signage requirements and gather project information.
- Prepare accurate signage quotations and proposals.
- Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Work closely with our in-house design, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Follow up quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate customer and project records.
- Assist with general administration and project coordination activities.
- Represent Speedy Signs Newmarket professionally at customer meetings and networking events.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll be customer-focused, organised, and commercially minded, with a passion for helping clients find the right signage solutions.
You will have:- Previous experience in the signage industry.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Proven sales experience with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new software.
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
