Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys meeting people, building long-term relationships, and turning opportunities into results?
Enigma Limited is a growing wholesale and retail business supplying vape products to retailers across New Zealand. We're currently looking for a driven Sales Representative to help expand our wholesale customer network throughout the Upper North Island.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own territory, and being rewarded for their performance through an attractive commission structure.
About the Role - Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing existing wholesale accounts as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities across your assigned territory.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing and growing wholesale customer accounts
- Identifying and pursuing new B2B sales opportunities
- Visiting retailers and presenting products, pricing, and promotional offers
- Building strong relationships with business owners and store managers
- Preparing proposals, following up opportunities, and closing sales
- Working closely with internal team members to ensure customer orders are delivered smoothly
- Maintaining regular contact with key customers
- Monitoring competitor activity, customer feedback, and market opportunities
- Providing regular updates on sales activity, leads, pipeline progress, and customer engagement
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the business
This is a field-based role that requires regular travel throughout the Upper North Island.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll be:- Experienced in sales, territory management, or business development
- Confident approaching new customers and building strong relationships
- Comfortable visiting retailers and speaking with business owners and managers
- Skilled at presenting products and communicating value propositions
- Organised, proactive, and results-driven
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
- Commercially minded and motivated by achieving sales targets
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
You'll also need a current New Zealand Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Experience in any of the following would be highly advantageous:- FMCG sales
- Wholesale sales
- Retail sales
- Convenience stores or dairy sales
- Territory sales
- Vape industry experience
The ability to speak Hindi or Mandarin would also be highly regarded.
