Elite Auto Spray is a well-established, medium-sized panel and paint shop with an excellent reputation in Taupō. Due to continued demand, we are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our professional team.

Working Hours are Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday: 7:00 am - 12 pm.
About the Role
As an experienced Panel Beater, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of structural and non-structural repairs to a high standard. You will work on various vehicles, restoring them safely and efficiently following collision damage.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural and non-structural repairs
- Repair dents and straighten vehicle frames using hydraulic equipment
- Remove and replace damaged panels and associated components
- Carry out MIG, spot, and plastic welding
- Grind, prepare, and finish repaired surfaces
- Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Operate specialised equipment, including body alignment and frame-straightening machinery
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicles as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:- A minimum of 3 years' continuous panel beating experience (5+ years preferred)
- The ability to complete structural repairs for insurance work
- A relevant trade qualification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full, valid driver's licence
