About Us
With over 25 years of experience in Canterbury, Earthworks & Paving 2012 Ltd is recognised by engineers and clients as a leading small-to-medium civil contractor. We are a Category A (over $5M) roading contractor with Christchurch City Council and deliver high-quality work across roads, drainage, footpaths, and subdivisions. We're busy, stable, and committed to getting the job done right.
We're Looking For People With:- Civil construction experience
- Class 1, 2 & WTR licences (Class 4 an advantage)
- STMS/TMO qualifications (an advantage)
- Strong communication skills
All Applicants Must:- Have a strong focus on Health and Safety
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a reasonable level of physical fitness
- Hold NZ Residency or a valid work visa
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
What We Offer:- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Time-and-a-half after 50 hours and all Saturday work

To be considered, you must:- Hold a current Class 1 driver's licence
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be physically fit and reliable
- Have a strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Previous civil construction experience is preferred but not essential for the right applicant.
