  • About the Role

    We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our Auckland team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and delivery of high-end residential landscape projects, creating distinctive outdoor spaces that respond to both site and client aspirations.

    Working closely with clients, architects, consultants and contractors, you will combine creative design thinking with strong technical expertise to deliver exceptional landscape outcomes from concept through to implementation. You will play a key role within the practice, contributing to design leadership, client relationships and the ongoing success of the business.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead landscape architecture projects from concept design through to construction.
    • Deliver innovative, thoughtful and high-quality design outcomes.
    • Prepare and review concept plans, masterplans, planting plans, technical documentation and project specifications.
    • Manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through all stages of a project.
    • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and local authorities.
    • Ensure projects meet relevant planning, consenting and industry requirements.
    • Mentor and support junior team members.
    • Contribute to business development.
    About You

    You will bring:
    • A degree in Landscape Architecture (although experience trumps qualification)
    • 6+ years' of relevant, high-end residential landscape design experience.
    • Strong conceptual design, planting design and technical documentation skills.
    • Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
    • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
    • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and project teams.
    • Sound knowledge of New Zealand planning and consenting processes.
    • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Vectorworks)
    Desirable Experience:
    • High-end residential landscape design.
    • Estate, lifestyle and coastal property projects.
    • Strong design presentation and client engagement skills.
    • Experience collaborating with architects and specialist consultants.
