CMG Motorcycles is growing, and with exciting brands and increasing demand, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our Christchurch team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about motorcycles and customer service to build a rewarding career in the motorcycle industry. Whether customers are experienced riders or completely new to bikes, you'll play a key role in helping them find the right fit and enjoy an exceptional buying experience.
You'll be responsible for:- Delivering outstanding customer service from enquiry through to delivery
- Selling motorcycles, accessories and riding gear
- Understanding customer needs and providing professional advice and solutions
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Supporting day-to-day dealership operations including administration and stocktaking
- Contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment
Weekend work is required.
We're looking for someone with:- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive, hardworking, and can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence using computers and digital systems
- Patience and a down-to-earth personality, especially with customers new to riding
- Flexibility and willingness to thrive in a busy environment
- A genuine passion for motorcycles and the riding lifestyle
Desirable:- Previous experience in retail, wholesale, or automotive sales
- Extensive motorcycle knowledge
- Experience riding motorcycles or involvement in the motorcycle community
