Hurrell Uniform Solutions & Merchandise is a well-established uniform & promotional items supplier located in Sydenham, Christchurch.
We are currently looking to fill a dual-role position where you will be responsible for operating our Direct to Film (DTF) printing equipment as well as our heat press machinery, playing a key part in the branding of uniforms within our production team.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:- Use of a commercial dual station electric textile heat press.
- Use of our large format DTF roll to roll printer
- Positioning of logo's accurately into position on various garments / products.
- Basic file preparation using design software for print production.
- Quality control
- Using your initiative, listening, learning and being proactive with your tasks.
We welcome applications from candidates with:- Previous experience in DTF printing and/or heat press operation (preferred)
- Ability to work with design files (Adobe, CorelDRAW, or similar)
- Creative Flair / Appreciation of Design
- The ability to work to a pre-determined production schedule
- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- A high level of initiative and self motivation
- To think outside the square and apply good problem solving skills
- Able to analyse and understand customer requirements before starting each project
- A good balance between working independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong communication skills.
