Three Rivers Contracting is a well-established agricultural contracting and transport business based in Southland.
We're looking for an experienced Digger Operator to join our team in a hands-on role offering a wide variety of work across civil, agricultural, and rural projects. There may also be opportunities to work alongside our sister company, MI Aggregates.
About the Role
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. Work includes:- Agricultural excavation
- Lane and accessway construction
- Tree work
- Civil works
- Quarry and aggregate operations
This role would suit someone who enjoys diverse work, takes pride in producing quality results, and is happy working across different environments and projects.
About You
We're looking for someone who:- Has proven experience operating diggers (essential)
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in safe operation and machine care
- Is reliable, motivated, and has a strong work ethic
- Holds a Class 5 Truck Licence, or is willing to obtain one, to assist with transporting machinery (desirable but not essential)
- Is willing to lend a hand across different areas of the business during seasonal demands
