We are an NZQA Registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) delivering workplace-based education and training programmes across New Zealand within the TTM, Civil and OHS infrastructure sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Facilitator / Assessor to join our growing team based in Penrose, Auckland (office based).
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive PTE environment where we are actively designing, developing, and gaining NZQA approval for our own programmes, standards, and micro-credentials.
About the Role
This role involves:- delivering engaging face-to-face and online training
- conducting workplace assessments
- supporting learners through practical and theory-based training
- maintaining NZQA and our assessment requirements
- contributing to programme development and continuous improvement
You will work closely with our Academic and Operations team to support high-quality learner outcomes across workplace training environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver blended learning programmes (online and face-to-face)
- Conduct workplace-based assessments and learner observations
- Support learners through training and assessment activities
- Complete assessment marking and reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate learner and assessment records
- Participate in moderation and quality assurance activities
- Support programme development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain industry and assessor currency requirements
Skills & Experience Required
Applicants must:- Hold or be working towards Unit Standard 4098 Assessor qualification (preferred completed)
- Hold or be working towards a minimum Certificate in Adult Education Level 4 (preferred completed)
- Hold relevant TTM and/or Civil and/or OHS industry standards, qualifications, or micro-credentials
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience delivering facilitation and workplace assessments
- Have at least 1-2 years practical industry experience within TTM, Civil, or related sectors
- Have strong communication and learner engagement skills
- Be confident using online learning systems and digital technology
