    We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our growing team.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Business Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day operational delivery across multiple worksites. You will provide leadership and support to Foremen, Operators and Labourers while ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently.

    You will play a critical role in maintaining operational standards across civil construction and traffic management projects while driving a strong safety culture throughout the business.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise daily operations across multiple worksites
    • Support and coordinate Foremen, Operators and site crews
    • Manage labour, plant, equipment and materials to meet delivery requirements
    • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
    • Monitor site progress, productivity, quality and compliance
    • Promote and enforce strong health and safety practices across all operations
    • Conduct site inspections, audits and support safety briefings
    • Identify and resolve operational issues, risks and hazards
    • Maintain accurate site documentation, reporting and timesheets
    • Build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
    What We're Looking For:
    • Strong understanding of civil construction and traffic management operations
    • Experience supervising field-based crews and multi-site activities
    • Sound knowledge of excavation, reinstatement and TMP implementation
    • Excellent planning, coordination and problem-solving ability
    • Strong communication and leadership capability
    • Safety-first mindset with a proactive approach to risk management
    • Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 minimum)
    • Site Safe / Construct Safe
    • Current First Aid certificate
    Preferred:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience within civil construction and/or TTM environments
    • Proven experience leading operational teams in field environments
    • STMS qualification
    • WTR endorsements
    • Supervisory or leadership training
