    We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Foreman to join our growing team.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you'll take ownership of on-site delivery across civil construction and/or traffic management works. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate crews, oversee daily operations, maintain site safety, and ensure work is completed to the highest standard.

    For integrated delivery works, you'll also act as the STMS and be the single accountable on-site leader responsible for safety, sequencing, and operational delivery.

    This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front, and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes safely and efficiently.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Lead and supervise daily site activities
    • Coordinate Operators and Labourers to achieve safe and productive outcomes
    • Manage excavation works including service exposure, protection, and reinstatement
    • Deliver asphalt and concrete reinstatement works
    • Set out works including levels, alignments, and markings
    • Implement and maintain approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
    • Monitor productivity, sequencing, quality, and programme delivery
    • Complete site documentation, reporting, and timesheets accurately
    • Act as the key on-site operational contact
    • Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
    • Identify and manage hazards and environmental risks
    • Ensure compliance with NZGTTM requirements and WSS procedures
    • Stop unsafe work immediately when required
    • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all worksites
    • Ensure all personnel wear and use PPE correctly
    What We're Looking For:
    • Proven experience leading crews on civil construction worksites
    • Strong understanding of excavation, reinstatement, and traffic management delivery
    • Ability to read plans, drawings, and site sketches
    • Strong communication and leadership capability
    • High level of accountability and problem-solving ability
    • Safety-focused mindset with strong situational awareness
    • Full NZ Driver Licence - Class 2 minimum
    • Site Safe and/or Construct Safe
    • Current First Aid Certificate
    • WTR endorsements
    • Confined Space certification (where applicable)
    • STMS qualification preferred
    • Supervisory or leadership training advantageous
