Cyclone Buildings Taranaki is looking for a practical, reliable and motivated Site Lead / Foreman to help lead the way.
Our company's main focus is supplying and building steel framed sheds. We also complete house renovations and developments. This role would suit someone from a building, roofing, construction or trades background who knows how to keep jobs moving, solve problems on the fly, and enjoys a variety of work.
You do not need to know everything already. If you have solid construction experience, a good attitude, and the ability to take ownership, we can teach the rest.

You'll also need to demonstrate:- Experience in building, roofing or general construction
- Strong practical problem-solving ability
- Ability to read plans and organise work fronts
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, organised and calm under pressure
- Full driver licence
Scissor Lift, Forklift and Digger operating experience will be a bonus!
About the Role
You'll be responsible for leading jobs on site safely, efficiently and professionally while ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on time and on budget.
Your responsibilities will include:- Leading day-to-day site operations
- Managing staff, subcontractors and workflow on site
- Coordinating materials, plant and subcontractors
- Keeping projects on track and solving issues early
- Maintaining strong workmanship and quality standards
- Running safe and compliant worksites
- Communicating progress, issues and solutions clearly
- Mentoring junior staff and building team culture
- Managing productivity, labour efficiency and site performance
