Hunting & Fishing Taupō currently has a full-time opportunity available!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vibrant and energetic salesperson. We're particularly interested in candidates with knowledge or experience in hunting, firearms, optics, or saltwater fishing, although if you've got a genuine passion for the outdoors and are interested in building a career in retail, we'd still love to hear from you.
We pride ourselves on our strong product knowledge, outstanding customer service, and genuine interest in all things hunting, fishing, camping, tramping, and outdoor clothing. We need someone who believes in our products and can relate to our customers.
Our successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:- Previous experience in a retail environment or customer service
- Experience in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, or tramping
- A confident, friendly, and professional manner with customers
- High standards of personal presentation
- Good computer skills
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to forward plan
- The ability to take instruction and constructive feedback
- A proactive and responsible attitude
- A current firearms licence would be a definite advantage
We are a 7 day business so there will be a requirement to work some weekends and public holidays.
Our roster is released a month in advance, so you'll have plenty of notice and work-life balance.
