We are looking for a practical, hands-on mechanic and all-rounder to work across multiple businesses and a wide variety of projects. This is not your average workshop role - every day is different, and we need someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and getting stuck in wherever needed.
The role includes:- Managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Building and restoring custom cars and trucks
- Fitting electrical systems and components to custom trailers
- Working on trucks, earthmoving equipment, and machinery
- Assisting with fabrication, fit-outs, and general practical projects
- Helping across different parts of the business as required
We're looking for someone who:- Has strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Can turn their hand to almost any practical task with confidence
- Has experience across vehicles, machinery, electrical, fabrication, or similar trades
- Is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in their work
- Is willing to do whatever job needs doing - big or small
- Has a positive attitude and understands that no task is "beneath them"
- Enjoys variety and can adapt to different projects and environments
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with their hands and takes satisfaction in figuring things out and getting results.
Remuneration will reflect the applicant's skills, experience, and qualifications. The right person will be very well looked after, including the use of a company service vehicle.
