We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our Auckland team based in Wiri. This is a full-time position offering stable weekday hours, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with a well-established business servicing customers across the Auckland region.
About the Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service throughout the delivery process.
Your responsibilities will include:- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Planning and following delivery routes to meet daily schedules and timeframes
- Checking orders against delivery documentation before dispatch
- Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading goods safely and carefully
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Obtaining proof of delivery and updating records using handheld devices and delivery technology
To be successful in this role, you will have:- A current clean Class 1 New Zealand driver licence
- Previous experience in delivery driving, courier, transport, or logistics
- Good knowledge of Auckland roads and surrounding areas
- A strong commitment to safe driving and health & safety practices
- Good physical fitness and safe manual-handling ability
- Confidence using GPS systems, scanners, and handheld devices
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliability, honesty, and punctuality
