    About the Role

We're on the lookout for reliable, practical, and hands-on people to join our team as Production Operators - Injection Moulding. This is a key role within our plastics manufacturing line, where you'll operate machinery, perform quality checks, and help ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.

We currently have a mix of both permanent and fixed-term opportunities available, with work operating across a range of roster patterns including days, nights, and weekends. Shifts are typically 12 hours in length.

You don't need formal training, just a practical mindset, an interest in how things work, and a willingness to get stuck in. If you've worked in manufacturing, or you're the type who enjoys fixing things and working with your hands, you'll fit right in.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Operating injection moulding machines
    • Assisting with machine setup and configuration
    • Producing parts to exact specifications
    • Trimming and finishing products using hand tools
    • Conducting quality checks and troubleshooting minor issues
    • Packing and labelling stock for dispatch
    • Cleaning machines and maintaining a tidy work area
    • Supporting health & safety procedures and improvements
    • Locking up at the end of your shift
    What We Offer

At Cirtex, we value loyalty and growth, and we're proud to offer a workplace where people stick around. Here's what you'll get:
    • Attractive hourly rates
    • Career development opportunities, including a pathway into a New Zealand Certificate in Plastics Processing (Level 4) through our new apprenticeship programme
    • All training provided, no experience with plastics or injection moulding needed
    • A supportive team environment focused on safety, respect, and continuous improvement
If you're ready to learn, grow, and work with a team that values what you bring to the table, we'd love to hear from you.
