    Brailsfords Ltd is a well-established, family-friendly contracting business specialising in ecological native restoration on the outskirts of Christchurch. We work across Canterbury restoring and maintaining native landscapes through planting and environmental management projects.

    We're currently looking for motivated and reliable Restoration Field Workers to join our team for the busy autumn planting season and beyond.

    About the Role

    This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, being part of a supportive team, and working in nature.

    Your day-to-day work will include:
    • Planting native seedlings throughout Canterbury
    • Seedling socking and plant preparation
    • Pre-plant and maintenance spraying using herbicides
    • Assisting with general restoration and planting operations
    You don't need previous restoration experience, full training will be provided. Experience in landscaping, farming, forestry, tree planting, or similar outdoor work would be an advantage.

    We are looking for people who are:
    • Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work
    • Reliable, hardworking, and positive team players
    • Keen to learn and develop new skills
    • Interested in environmental restoration and native planting
    • Holders of a full or restricted NZ Driver Licence
