    Bayleys Canterbury is a leading real estate and consultancy business, providing a full suite of real estate services across the region. We are seeking a capable and motivated Business Support / Receptionist to support an established sales team and play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of our Waimate office.

    This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised, and takes pride in delivering professional administrative and client support in a fast‑paced environment.

    The Role

    You will provide high‑quality administrative, marketing and reception support, helping the team deliver exceptional service to our clients. You'll be comfortable managing incoming requests, juggling priorities, and working with confidential information.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Preparation of submissions and documentation
    • Loading property listings and assisting with legal documentation
    • Coordinating and supporting marketing campaigns
    • Reception duties including answering phones and greeting clients
    • Maintaining office presentation and providing customer service support
    • General administration to support the sales team and office operations
    There may be occasions where you assist with overflow work from other offices.

    You will bring a proactive, mature approach to your work and enjoy being part of a close‑knit professional team.

    Ideally you will have:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • A solutions‑focused mindset and willingness to learn
    • Confidence working in a confidential environment
    Previous experience in real estate, property or marketing is preferred but not essential.
